Roof repairs
For some time there has been a leak in the roof leading to water staining of the hall ceiling.
After a survey it was determined that the leak was occurring at the valley where the roofs of the main hall and the kitchen/toilet wing intersect.
Both valleys have been stripped out and new, lead valleys together with timber support and replacement felt have been made.
After twenty eight years the old valleys, of fibreglass, had reached the end of their life and deteriorated sufficienly to leak.
The new valleys, of lead, should last considerably longer than the fibreglass ones that they replace.
